Radisson Hotel York

4-star riverside hotel in central York overlooking the River Ouse

Dining and Breakfast

Radisson Hotel York offers on-site dining at RBG Bar & Grill, which serves an international menu overlooking the River Ouse. Guests can order from a Click & Collect service, selecting items from the menu in their room and picking them up at a designated point. The breakfast buffet is noted for its wide variety of options, including a dedicated gluten-free section.

Rooms and Suites

Each room at the Radisson York features air conditioning, flat-screen digital TVs, and bathrooms with drench showers. Some rooms provide views of the River Ouse, while the Superior Room with Minster View offers a direct sightline to York Minster. The Click & Collect service allows guests to order from the room menu and collect meals at a pickup point.

Location and Nearby Attractions

The Radisson Hotel York sits on the River Ouse in central York, within a 10-minute walk of York Minster Cathedral, the York Dungeon, and The Shambles. The Jorvik Viking Centre is a 6-minute walk from the hotel, and the National Railway Museum is 15 minutes on foot. York Train Station and the main shopping district are each a 5-minute stroll away, while York Racecourse is a 10-minute drive.

Business and Events

The hotel provides 12 flexible meeting rooms and event facilities, with a dedicated meetings and events planning manager (Valentina Semeraro) for organizing large functions. The team handles everything from corporate conferences to reunions, as seen in the RAPTC Military Veterans event. On-site parking is available but limited, with nearby NCP Tanner Row offering discounted rates.

Wellness and Activities

A fitness centre on the first floor offers cable machines, cardio equipment, and a rowing machine (though it was noted as broken in some reviews). The hotel also arranges walking tours and bike tours for guests exploring York. Mini golf and pub crawls are additional activities available in the area, though not operated by the hotel.
